rite ive been avin probs with pc kept gettin errors found was my memory as borrowed sum last nite i powered down my pc an took my m8s memory out an put sum new memory in my pc has refused to power up since tried dif memorys even swapped mobbo board round,still no joy jus went out an bought a new atx case wiv psu an still wont boot ive checked all my conections an everything,is conected right.When i power on the fan on my cpu trys 2 kick in then it dies ne1 ne ideas am startin 2 think my cpu is dead as gather pc wont even try 2 boot wiv dead cpu! cheers.

Hmmm it could be a virus that doesnt let you reboot or your whole pc is broken.

only way to be sure is to stick another cpu in, ohh and really make sure that the ram is seated correctly, do you get any noise from ur pc speaker on it trying to boot?

ive eventually got it 2 boot found that if i connect my new hardrive it wont powerup,so ive disconected that,also if i put all the conectors plugged in for the hd led lights etc my cdroms wont work so ive disconected them.I know that the probs im havin r not to do wiv processor or mobo board as get same probs wiv other mobo board,jus seems funny that wotever has happened has killed my harddrive and floppy drive,ne1 know how i can install winme without floppy drive as my os was on other hd! cheers!

if ur cdroms wont work m8 i'd look very carefully at the jumper settings and check the ide cable cus this is a very good sign of them not correctly being mastered/slaved correctly same goes with ur hdd.
