ok this may or may not help u people at all..... i have done a lot of research into DTM (European), Toca Race Driver 2 or Racedriver 2 (US), and V8 Supercars (Aussie), and have come to a solid conclusion as to how to get these games cracked, or so i believe......Here it is:
I got an image of the game right, then i went to megagames pc fixes section and downloaded the nocturnal cracked exe all, i simply exchanged the exe after the download finished. Then, and note this because it is very important, i made sure that racedriver was installed, and made sure that i also had daemon tools installed too with all the copy prtections enabled or "all emulations on". Then i double clicked the exe (not the shortcut) and a small menu comes up with DTM written in the top right corner, here i simply pressed reset drivers. the program then requires the computer to restart and it will prompt u to do so. Once restarted double click the exe again and this time press start game. a verification window will open and u will be prompted to restart ur machine to complete the installation........(not again :'( ) ...... so once it restarts for the second time go back into the folder and double click the exe file again!!! this time goto the start game button again and click it.... the verification window will come up again, but it will then goto a small windows message saying that the wrong cd or something is inserted..... do not close the programs but instead simply remount the original dtm/toca/racedriver/v8supercars image (roughly 4.6gb once mounted) and click ok or retry or whatever it says and the game will launch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also note that any other threads in this forum and other forums that state that u must unplug hardware (optical drives) to get the backup image working are INCORRECT!!!! because by simply using this cracked exe it automatically bypasses any check made to those optical drives and thus makes the unplugging process unnecessary.
Also because this cracked exe by nocturnal states all at the end where english, or german, etc. is usually written, i believe this should work for all variants of the game....
people may experience random windows error messages when restarting during this cracking process.....but i guarantee this wont affect the process at all.....i got like 2 or 3 random errors when i restarted for the second time, but it works fine for me....
If anyone who has cracked the game successfully using the unplug method could u plz give this method a go and tell me if it works for you because i believe this may be able to save u some time each time u want to play the game.....
if anyone actually tries this method out plz do other forum goers justice and write some feedback to help steer the people who want to crack this game in future!!!
