I found this site by SCOURING every listing in google searching for the NOCD patch for the upgraded version of RCT3 (which i still haven't had any luck doing).
I did a hex comparison of the no-cd-cracked exe file, and the original exe file that ships with the game, I tried applying the same changes to the upgrade patch (i may have been using the beta upgrade not the official retail one - but anyway) with no luck. There are tons of differences.... I also tried disassembling the exe but w32Dasm wigs out at about 90% so I don't even get to view the disassembled exe. Maybe someone with more experience can figure it out -- I hope!!
I was invisioning my most glorious moment making everyone on the thread happy by posting a no-cd patched exe but NO LUCK! Sorry...
I would like to say one more thing about the importance of this patch. Anyone who's played the game will know that the patch fixes ALOT of very annoying bugs in the original software. These bugs interfere with gameplay enormously by spamming your console (which can take up 70% of the screen when full and not to mention makes an annoying beeping sound when you get a message) with "people not being able to exit the ride" (even tho the ride exit is on the path) VIPs not leaving the park (making some scenarios impossible to complete and spamming you with 100s of "VIP is leaving the park" messages) and many more annoyances. There is some debate on the atari forum by people that are pissed at Atari for releasing such a "half-completed" game.
Now if you're wondering why I'm posting all this, it's to get the thread back on top and maybe someone who half-way knows what they're doing will come along and crack the CD protection. If you are one of those people and don't feel like downloading the entire game, I will provide you with EXE files of the game as it ships retail, the 1.0 no-cd cracked version, and the new 1.1 patched version that requires a cd.
Hopefully someone will get a fix for this soon

Until then, it's still a great game and I'm very impressed with it!!!
