NO more need for NOCD cracks for HALO!!!

to use halo without a nocd patch you must first download the following:
dameon tools found here:
DaemonTools
Click on DAEMON Tools 4.0.3 X86 (if you use windows 32 bit edition no MATTER what processor u use its ur windows that defines ur selection)
DAEMON Tools 4.0.3 X64 (select this one ONLY if u have windows XP 64 bit edition.)
whatever one suits ur windows, download it.

install this then go to: gamecopyworld
click on any mirror that says"online" then scroll down and find an "enter" button and search for halo on the second search box on the left of the page, NOT the top one. click on first search result, it will bring you to halo index then look for

Halo [MULTI] No-CD/Fixed Image

and again download.

After this run dameon tools in the task bar click emualtion and go to "safedisc" then go to virtual cd/dvd and "mount image" go and find the halo mini image you just downloaded and then start halo.
and away you go!

YOU must NOT have a nocd installed in the halo directory as it will not work properly a proper halo.exe file must be present fo this to work

Dunno but if you bought halo the cd key inside works fine. if its one ya found on internet MS or sumbody must have banned it from online play

Dont think i needa, try running halu update again ad see if hat works or download the manual patch from here:

You might need the autopatcher too in the future, i know i did to get 1.06. PM me if theres any trouble

I Try to download the CD image and it says "Service Unavailable" is this temporary or "never going to be fixed" sort of thing. If its the Latter could someone post the file or something?

heres a question refering to the cd key problem

when i first install halo.. it works fine with this one.. i can join any game i want with no problems.. but once i closed the program and reopen it.. i cannot join any game every game gives invalid cdkey.. its my own cdkey.. and if i uninstall and reinstall halo.. it will work once again untill i close it and reopen it the first time

anybody got any ideas for this one?

microsoft keeps ++++ing up on certain things.. look at office 2003 student and teacher edition, you can install it once.. after that u can no longer install it even when you call microsoft.. its a one time install program thats why its so cheap.. even if its the same computer that u had to format due to problems

about the CD key prob, mine works as i really have lost my cd which was frigged up anyway, rendered unusable.
Maybe the CD key you are using was stolen for a warez copy of the game as when two people use the same CD key only one person will actually have acess to the servers i tihnk
i dont know for sure about that but two things:
my oroginal CD key works grand so far and i have had no probs with that^^^^^^^^way up top
And i dont give out CD keys, its illegal, so plz stop asking me!!!!

ok i tried this befor with no luck. theres a new version out for dameon tools. do i install the game using my normal cd drive (D) and then let the game run off the emulated drive E?

I don't have a noCD and i downloaded the Daemmon manager v3.47, and the other Fixed image, set it up the way you said. My Halo: Combat Evolved is up to date, but when I go to open the game, it wants the original CD, which I lost quite some time ago. What do I do?!?! I think it's trying to find the CD in the D drive, and even with the CD out of it, it won't take the E drive from the Daemon. That's just a guess though....

Ty for the program and everything. Now i understand what it is. I remember at my Cusis house and he had it and some IMG files but i had no idea what the program was for :graynone: . Ya and now i have halo! YAY. First i had a halo game but not updated because it had the first patch no-cd/key ya and you can ake ur own cd key (i made 00000-00000-00000-00000) but then l8er when i updated it and i did the Deamon thing it said that my CD KEY was incorect. So i called my friend for a cd-key and he gave it to me (he did not have internet hehe, and will never play halo anyway) yaa..... :graysleep .....


Sooo...... now i wana make a IMG of my other games that i have (like diablo 2 expansion fr instance) i have ULTRA Iso (program) and i copy the cd into an IMG file onto the computer. BUT THE GOD DAM FILE IS 600MB! And im not waisting all my presious memory for all the IMG. How can i make thefile size smaller? The halo IMG was like 20MB. What should i do?

Sry for the double post but I AM REALLY anoiyed of all ur complaining! ITS SO SIMPLE. This will solve all ur questions.

# 1. It sais CD-KEY INVAID because u have the wrong CD-KEY. like i did in the first place. When i illigaly downloaded the game it asked for the cd-key. The halo was cracksed then to take any cd-key even though the cd-key did not exist BUT! if you get the patch it will de-crack its self and it will recognize the wrong cd-key OR! it can say that the cd-key is invalid cus it is already registered to anoth user

sounds like warez there mods but plz dont close this..what he said is true, to paly online a registered CD key is needed like what i have from my original box whcih is now gone but if anyone wants proof i will go and find my recipt when i bought it.

Anyway you need a proper registered CD key to paly online yes, you also need the CD to start the game or at least the as shown above mini image in a virtual drive. NOCD patches only half work, on cracked servers and in them pings can be pretty crappy so IMO go buy the game to paly it properl as it is damn good online with on a high spec pc is also good in single player mode as well.

As for creating mini images i do not know how, i only found that one on gamecopyworld and decided to make a tutorial sort of thing in order to show others how it could be done.
