It's gonna be a while for a crack, but it's really important to get 64bit starforce drivers to run on 64 bit windows....That's a pain!

Fool! You should read the rules before joining and think of others who legitimately bought the game before talking about warez....in fact you shouldn't talk warez here.

Being new to MGF, and having watched the history of threads related to this topic, I am hoping that the "Nuked" philosophy is adhered to...

Hey I've got a question,

I've installed this patch from Starforce, you can type in your CD-key and than it contacts the service thingy and when its done your supposed to be able to play without your CD. BUT: It doesnt contact te service thingy but gives you a new key, it says you need to call Starforce information stuff and say your new key �nd your cd-key and than you will be able to play the game without CD. So my question really is: does any1 else tried this? And what is the phonenumber (I live in holland)

Alright, after i've readed all that topics about SC:CT, after i've spend some time to know if there are possibilities to play the game without the DVD, is there any way to do that? What Starforce has done is absolutely a very good protection, but the protection itself leaves no choices to play SC:CT without the CD in our DVD-ROM. So, if there aren't guys who spend a very large amount of time to create something useful, the discussion about the No-Cd is in a stalemate.
I think i'll love this game, it's wonderful, but what the main issue is that the game is not working on some DVD-ROM.... like mine. Now i have to pay more money to play??? And, last but not least, the reason is that if I got a scratch on the CD, i've lost the money into nothing. No one will repay me, so... the only hope is to find some way to get SC:CT work with a no cd. For sure i've to buy a new DVD-ROM, it's doesn't cost too much... but the game is expensive! So, i'm waiting to any advices.

May be someone saw already in eDonkey and Torrent networks an archive with patched .exe and .dll files. Because my legal DVD gets scratchy either. It looks right to me because StarForce embedds it's protection in such a files. The pain is in the password for the archive and i know that thousands of people already d/l that. If someone courious about archive, I put it there:

Ok, you guys. I'm serious I found a a crack but I dont know if it works or not I got fed up with the game and deleted it. Anyways the crack is an .EXE @ 6megs, and a .DLL @ 15megs. I need somone to host the file for me. I got it off of bit torrent.

These files are not even archives.... Don't know what they are, but they are not any known archive type... OR they are damaged beyond recognition... Don't waste your time on these files...

I could extract them without any problems SkittlesLA.
I got a file called splintercellchaostheory-patch.cracked-PRIVACY.rar.
Inside is the SplinterCell3.exe, udmlib.dll a keygen.exe and an nfo from PRIVACY.
But for some reason the size of SC3.exe and the dll are neither the the same as the original files nor as the patched ones posted some time ago.
Let's hope someone finds a password soon and we can test these.

regarding usb dvd player/burner. do you guys think the update will stop that from working?

It seems alot of people are having luck with that method. It would cost about $60 for a usb case but to what use because the next game or next update with starforce might stuff up that option.

what does the more computer educated people think? is it worth investing in usb box

I just found out how to play SC:CT without the DVD kind of, insert DVD into the drive, let starforce check the disk, boot into the game menu, or maybe during the intro videos, remove DVD, play.

At first, you dont need a 60$-usb-box, there are usb-2-ide adapters, with them you can connect your ide devices directly to your usb-port and they only cost around 10� at ebay (new!). I have such an adapter and i can play scct without problems, but i think this trick is soon going to be blocked. So i would not recommend to buy an adapter for this one game only...

Hi my first post!

anyway i was on a different forum where a guy posted this:

Try this all:

Try this with daemon tools

1. Install Daemon tools, when installing rename the 2 bus names (you will see when installing) to anything other than the default names. Protections recognise these names.

2. Mount your DPM image on daemon, disable any alcohol drives and close alcohol, then go back to daemon and to the option to mount a drive you will see device parameters, in there change Vendor ID, etc (3 at the top) to anything.

3. Enable all the emulation including RPMS, then close daemon from the taskbar and when asked keep the emulation on. This will close the daemon program but leave the drives with the image mounted.

4. Run starforce nightmare, disable your cd-roms (not virtual drive) and if you have the game installed on a SATA drive disable ATA, if not dont disable ATA. Also disable nodes.

5. Run game, if asked for another drive, open up daemon and make another virtual drive and mount the image on it, and then close daemon again keeping emulation on.

6. This should run the game

now i havent tried it yet cause i dont really know how to work starforce nightmare :P, but maybe 1 of u guys do! If some1 tries it tell us if it works!!
