Dreamtheatre's new CD, Octavarium

Dreamtheatre have released a new CD called Octavarium.
Purists and fanatics have called it a sellout.
Regular listeners call it their first decent album or as some reveiwers called them "not shredding guitar like idiots forgetting music".
For those who have heard it What do you guys think?

I think im with the regular listeners because its not quite a sellout yet and its quite good listening

The new cd is rather amazing... in most of dreamtheaters older albums they don't play very good, but the new one is quite good... I like it... i'm one of the "Purists and fanatics" i suppose...

I always considered Dream Theater the new-age Rush .. but now I can't think that about this group. Let's just say that they "sold out". Where is the abundance of 20-minute epics? Where is the innovation? Where is that fantastic guitar shredding, and that really unique drumming technique?

I am not a fan, trust me.
